We have a retaining wall in our garden and unfortunately it's crumbling and unsafe. We've started removing the wobbly bricks from the top, digging the soil back and... taking the extra soil further up the garden. The bricks we're removing will form part of the fill for an extension on our concrete platform at the top of the garden. We're saving and reusing everything we can. This includes buckets of shale that was surrounding the retailing wall. I'm sure we'll find a use for it at some point!
We moved into our house a few years ago. After having a good (long overdue) clear out and tidy-up in our back garden, we now have a good-sized muddy patch to fill. We want to grow some veggies next year... How on earth do we do that then..?
