Rather a lovely, clear day today so we planted the three champagne rhubarb crowns out in our garden. We bought them a couple of weeks ago online. When we googled it, we are supposed to dig in a load of manure. We don't tend to have manure to hand... so we just dug in some bags of compost, planted the crowns and hoped for the best! Three seems quite a lot and it's recommended that you leave a minimum of 75cm between them, so that's quite a lot of space on rhubarb. I'm guessing not all three will make it though! I guess we'll find out in the Spring...
We moved into our house a few years ago. After having a good (long overdue) clear out and tidy-up in our back garden, we now have a good-sized muddy patch to fill. We want to grow some veggies next year... How on earth do we do that then..?
