When I was a kid, I remember we had rhubarb (among other things) growing in our garden and my Mum used to cook an epic rhubarb crumble with it! These days it costs a fortune to buy rhubarb in any meaningful quantities in the supermarket, so I thought that now we have a garden of our own we could try growing some instead. My Gran said champagne rhubarb is the yummiest. I've been looking online as too where to buy the champagne variety and discovered that now (Autumn) is the best time to plant it out. Also, apparently you can't harvest any of the rhubarb for two years so I definitely want to plant it out this year.
We moved into our house a few years ago. After having a good (long overdue) clear out and tidy-up in our back garden, we now have a good-sized muddy patch to fill. We want to grow some veggies next year... How on earth do we do that then..?
